Detention Diversion
New Day has developed a Reception & Assessment Center. It serves as a detention diversion program, designed to intervene swiftly and strongly with youth who have been picked up by police or school officers for lower level misdemeanors. The goal is to engage youth in a manner that interrupts their course into the juvenile justice system and sets a positive trajectory for them and their families.
